A good illustration begins with a good story. A good illustrator brings both imagination and expertise to the project. I have enjoyed doing illustrations for children's books, editorial features, and a variety of manufacturing and scientific clients during my professional career.

As an artist I have keen interests in the sciences and enjoy expressing complex concepts in physics, chemistry, biology, etal in visual imagery that clearly communicates the author's message.

A conceptual illustrator in the medical and scientific fields fulfills an important role in visualizing complex concepts in a way that clarify the author's theories, manufacturer's design, or perhaps researcher's theory.

Since 2001, I have collaborated with a preeminent world-class orthopedic surgeon, creating a library comprised of over 5,000 medical, surgical and technical illustrations demonstrating step-by-step, complex surgical techniques for the treatment of congenital limb deformities in children. These illustrations have been published widely in academic journals and exhibited at international conferences and symposiums around the world.
